Day 229 – 8/17/10
Remember back on day 210 that I posted I was working on a surprise. Well this is the completed project. I made framed pictures for myself & the 5 other residents I’ve been in the CPE program with for the past year. The picture on the top left was taken very early in our year together. The picture on the top right was taken a few weeks ago. On the bottom middle is the logos of the 2 hospitals we work with. The words on the bottom left & right are the song Seasons of Love. I felt the words that say, “Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes, How do you measure the life of a woman or a man? In truths that she learned, or in times that he cried. In bridges he burned, or the way that she died. It’s time now to sing out, Tho’ the story never ends Let’s celebrate Remember a year in the life of friends. Remember the love!” were especially fitting for our year together.

Day 228 – 8/17/10
We had a footwashing service & agape feast at work today. It was the last “project” for the CPE residents I am part of. It was an amazing time together celebrating with a great group of co-workers who are definitely friends.

I showed yall these hats that I knitted some time back, but today’s picture is of them being modeled on Baby Kate, the granddaughter of one of my co-workers. Isn’t she adorable!!!!

Day 211 – 7/30/10
I play Scrabble on Facebook with a few people. I opened my active game with my friend Paula tonight & was thrilled to see my letters FGLOSTV. Do you see it? Yep, right there in the middle. LOST!!!!!! I definitely took a screen capture & after obscuring the photos & last names submitted it to one of my favorite new blogs My Life Is LOST where people can submit random sightings of LOST in everyday life. I know I’m addicted. I freely admit it!

Day 205 – 7/24/10
Since I shared the funny picture yesterday, thought I’d share the serious picture today. This is the group of CPE residents that I’ve been privileged to share the last year of my life with. I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like when I’m not with them 5 days a week. Love yall!

Last Saturday, we had our end of the year CPE party. The entertainment for the evening was the 6 CPE residents (including myself) spoofing the leaders of our department in a skit & top 10 countdown. Thought you might enjoy this funny pic from the skit.

Flashback time – today is my godsister Davedda’s 19th wedding anniversary. I ran across this photo several months ago of my sister Carrie & I at her wedding. I would have been almost 14 at the time.
