Since I shared the funny picture yesterday, thought I’d share the serious picture today. This is the group of CPE residents that I’ve been privileged to share the last year of my life with. I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like when I’m not with them 5 days a week. Love yall!

Day 204 – 7/23/10
Last Saturday, we had our end of the year CPE party. The entertainment for the evening was the 6 CPE residents (including myself) spoofing the leaders of our department in a skit & top 10 countdown. Thought you might enjoy this funny pic from the skit.

Day 200 – 7/19/10
Socks I just finished knitting for an intern at work. The picture doesn’t show the true colors. they are royal blue & coffee brown. I’m not thrilled with them at all, but the intern I made them for loves them. Que sera sera, whatever will be will be!

Day 196 – 7/15/10
Celebration today at the hospital because the Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital was named in the Top 10 Heart & Heart Surgery Hospitals by US News & World Report for the 20th year in a row! The food at the celebration was amazing!!!!!

At the conference I was at this morning, we had to use legos to build a house. Here’s what my group came up with complete with a front yard, minivan, & girl jump-roping! (note my knitting in the background, LOL!)
