Recordable Storybook: Review & Giveaway

Giveaway is now closed. Winner announced here – http://www.thealmons.com/ccblog/?p=2999

Over this past year, my family has recorded several storybooks for my now 3 year old niece Lola. If I remember correctly, it started when Damaris and I recorded a video of us reading If You Give a Cat a Cupcake for Lola. Then Damaris read one for Lola, and I think my Dad did too, and I know my Mom did for Lola’s birthday. I looked at several recordable storybooks, but just couldn’t afford the price because of the change in our employment and income in recent months. I was thrilled to be selected by Dayspring to review one of their new recordable storybooks, God’s Christmas Promise.

My new nephew Wyatt is due to be born just a few days before Christmas so I decided to record the storybook for both Lola and Wyatt.

Dayspring is offering a chance for one of you to receive a recordable storybook for you to give to a special someone in your life. Instructions to enter are below. Good luck to each of you!

Giveaway: One lucky reader will win a recordable storybook (shipping charges will apply to the winner’s order).

  12. I would love a story book for my little toddler who already has an appreciation for books. I would be happy with any book selected by DaySpring for a child of 2 (mine is almost 20 mos). Her FAV books right now are about Jesus, bible stories, and bugs. Thanks. Jackie

I would pick Really Woolly – Bedtime Prayers and Promises. I’d record it for our Goddaughter and give it to her for either Christmas or her birthday January 6. As a Godparent, it’s our responsibility to guide her as she grows in the Lord. I think bedtime prayers in our voices would be a good start.
