I’m C.C. Almon. I am blessed to be married to Russ. We’ve been married 12+ years, since September 20, 1997.

We have one daughter named Damaris Mikaelia (10 years old – born October 13, 1999). Our children who are no longer with us but that we still love so much are: Jordan Taylor (due on earth May 11, 1999, born into heaven September 1/2, 1998), Kerioth Cherie (born November 29, 2000 – failed adoption), Micah Jayden (due on earth September 20, 2001, born into heaven late January, 2001), and Noah Avrey (due on earth September 1, 2004, born into heaven late January, 2004).

We live in Houston, Texas where I am a chaplain resident at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital & Texas Children’s Hospital as well as an AVON Independent Sales Representative. Russ & I both just graduated with our Master of Divinity degrees. Russ is planning to pursue a Ph.D. in Theology to become a university and/or seminary professor.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, knitting, drinking coffee, & watching Gilmore Girls & LOST.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in early 2010 after suspecting this diagnosis for 3+ years. I am working to find a way to balance the horror of this disease with doing the ministry that God has called me too. I have recently begun eating clean in an attempt to help my health.

We homeschooled Damaris for 4.5 years, but she started public school just before Christmas, 2008. She definitely succeeded in this new adventure & is looking forward to 6th grade at the public charter college prep school she attends.
